Supporting bio innovation at ON Helix 2025

Accelerator Park was delighted to support One Nucleus’ ON Helix 2025 event this month – the one-day conference addressing key bio innovation trends.

From developments in life science and technology research to their translation into new diagnostics, prevention tools and treatments, the conference – held at Brabraham Research Campus in Cambridge – provided the platform for a series of panel discussions from key opinion leaders in the field.

The third session of the day: ‘Getting Ready for Clinic’ – with MC Sam Walker of Canmoor – highlighted the challenges faced in the pre-clinical research space, and how strategic approaches and early decision making can lead to enhanced clinical readiness, reducing costly setbacks and ultimately accelerating the transition from lab to clinic.

The Keynote presentation on Strategic Preclinical Pathways to Accelerate Clinical Readiness was delivered by Johannes Stanta of BioNavix, with company case studies from David Cook of  Quodria – The 99% Perspiration: Practical Biotech Learnings From Clinical Development – and Shefali Bohra of Dotplot – Creative Misfits in the Medtech World.

A panel discussion rounded up the session with moderator Judit Molnar, Neophore & One Nucleus Board Member, and panellists , Dave Cook of Quodria, Christopher Floyd of tranScrip, Debra Babalola of  Dotplot and  Johannes Stanta of Bionavix.

Sam Walker said: “It was great to be part of this exciting and informative session from leaders in the field of bio innovation. With Accelerator Park, we are playing our part in providing high-quality, strategically located space for these and other players in the life science and tech fields to support innovation and growth in the South Cambridge Life Science cluster, so want to see these businesses thrive.”
